Graduation

Eight members of staff from Lincolnshire Montessori have graduated with the prestigious Montessori Early Childhood Diploma following almost three years of intensive study.

In addition to working full time in the nursery and school, the teachers have dedicated many evenings learning theory and practice in the Montessori educational approach. They are now among only a handful of Montessorians in the area trained to work with children from ages 2-6.

Director of Lincolnshire Montessori Training Centre, Theresa Ellerby who has led the project and delivered the course said:

“I am very proud of the students. Their commitment to this course in addition to their hours at work has been exemplary and it has shown in their fantastic results. They have excelled at their studies and translated this into quality practice in the nursery and the school.

We now have a team of professionals who have brought together care and education for our young children through the Montessori philosophy.

As a company we are committed to our staff in terms of their personal and professional development. The Diploma has been demanding and exacting, but is testament to real teamwork and a striving for quality. We are currently developing further Montessori training.”
