Stallingborough based Deputy Manager Debbie Crofts has reached the finals short-list for UK Nursery Practitioner of the Year in the upcoming Nursery World magazine awards. The awards, which will be presented at the Lancaster London in September, acknowledge the best early years provision in the country. Director Sylvia Archer said: “ We are thrilled for Debbie to have reached the finals. Debbie is an excellent nursery practitioner and has the full support of her team. Her management style is enabling and she is keen to see people grow. This was recognised in our OfSTED report which stated “the staff are very well supported by the inspirational management team who work exceptionally hard to provide quality care for children” She also a fantastic role model on qualifications and continuing professional development. Undaunted by working full time and studying for a Level 3 and further training, Debbie has raised the bar and shown other members of staff what can be achieved with tenacity and patience. She has combined theory and practice to achieve fantastic results in her diploma.” In the same awards, the organisation has been shortlisted for a 'Working with Parents' award in recognition of the quality relationships and support offered to parents. In a recent OfSTED report, partnership with parents was described as 'outstanding'.
